TA40 Ratchet Cybertron Mode Transformers Animated Ratchet is equipped with a pair of shock paddles. He transforms from his tread-mounted Cybertronian vehicle mode into a more barrel-chested robot mode. A veteran medic from the time of the Great War, Ratchet is among the oldest of the Autobots. Despite the preference for a quieter and less troublesome tour of duty, he serves as second in command to Optimus Prime. Steeped in experience, the world-weary Ratchet is given to mawkish brooding and moldering flashbacks, in the course of which his pre-Earth mode is sometimes shown.
